Zebra Blu-Ray Burner/HD DVD player

Q: What media can I read/write with this burner?
A: You can Read and Write to DVD, CD, and Blu-Ray discs. In addition, you can read HD-DVD with this drive as well.

Q: My drive is not being detected by my computer, what can I do?
A: First, ensure that there is power to the drive. Check that the power cable is connected securely at all connections. Check that the cable has not been cut or damaged. Ensure that the drive is
switched on using the back panel switch. Second, make sure that all data cables (eSATA or USB) are connected securely on both ends. Check for cable damage. Third, make sure that the USB/eSATA port on your PC is functional. Try using a piece of known working equipment in the port. Fourth, ensure that any requisite drivers are installed, for example, if you are connecting to an eSATA or USB controller that has been added via PCI.

Q: I have a question about PowerDVD or the Hi-Def suite.
A: For any questions or issues with the Hi-Def suite, visit Cyberlink: http://www.cyberlink.com

Q: I'm trying to install an Operating System using USB, but it won't boot from my disc, what's wrong?
A: First, make sure that booting via USB is supported and enabled in your BIOS. Second, make sure that boot priority is changed so that your Blu-Ray drive is ahead of any Hard Disk that may have an OS already installed.

Q: The user guide says that the drive supports Rewritable Blu-Ray discs, but I can't find any BD-RW.
A: Unlike CD and DVD (which are labeled -RW for Rewritables) Blu-Ray Rewritable discs are labeled -RE.

Q. Will I be able to play Blu-ray media with different region codes?
A. Yes, the bundled Cyberlink Power DVD software should, when opening a Blu-ray disc of a different region, allow you to change region code up to 5 times. The default region code setting after installation would be Region A.

Blu-ray Region Codes are as follows:

* Region A/1 - North America, Central America, South America, Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia
* Region B/2 - Europe (EU), Africa, Middle East, New Zealand, Australia
* Region C/3 - China, India, Russia, Rest of the world

Q: I put a printed paper label on my DVD or Blu-Ray disc, and now it won't play. What happened?
A: It is recommended that you never apply any sort of sticker or label to optical media. This is especially important in DVD and Blu-Ray discs. If the label is even minutely off-center or causes any sort of imbalance to the disc, it can cause it to wobble, rendering the disc unreadable. Also, adding a label can cause the disc to retain more heat, which could cause issues as well.

Q: I have an older computer, can I read or write to Blu-Ray?
A: The requirements to play High Definition discs (BD and HD-DVD) are as follows:

CPU: Intel Pentium D 3.2 GHz or Equivalent (Core 2 Duo E6300 Recommended)
O/S: Windows XP with SP2, Windows Vista
RAM: 1 GB or more
