How to Install the Slim ATAPI Mounting Bracket

Here is the procedure to install a Slim ATAPI to Serial ATA Converter or Slim ATAPI to USB 2.0 Converter and mounting bracket onto the slim ATAPI optical drive.

1. Position the mounting bracket so the screw holes on the mounting bracket line up with the screw holes on the slim ATAPI optical drive. Secure the mounting bracket onto the optical drive using the two included screws.

2. Insert the slim ATAPI connector from the Slim ATAPI Converter into the optical drive, making sure the connector is flush and the screw holes from the converter and mounting bracket are lined up correctly.

3. Using the three larger cross shaped screws, secure the converter onto the mounting bracket. The converter is now ready to be mounted.
