List of Linux Distributions compatible with Addonics SATA Host Controllers

As an add-in card for an existing Linux Operating System installation with hard drives used for the purpose of additional storage. RAID can be configured from drives connected to the SATA host contollers using Linux software RAID utilities such as MDADM, or LVM/LVM2.

AD2SA3GPX1 (2-Ports SATA II RAID5/JBOD PCI-Express Controller)
ADSA3GPX1-E (eSATA II PCI-Express Controller)

Note: The Silicon Image driver for all the above SATA Host Controllers is a Module of this kernel version so no driver installation is needed. Just plug in the card and connect your SATA hard drives* and the system should detect it. Addonics Technologies will NOT provide technical support on how to configure the hard drive and also on how to create RAID sets in Linux.

*Linux may not be able to hot swap without loading an additional module.
