Overview of Ruby Hard Drive Kit
The Ruby drive kit is the latest Addonics storage solution incorporating a number of new innovative features and enhancements.  Designed to connect SATA hard drive to any system to deliver peak performance, the Ruby drive enclosure introduces Addonics first SATA direct bridge design that connects the 2.5" SATA hard drive to the computer in native SATA mode. The Ruby drive enclosure is the first in the market that comes with built in eSATA and SATA connectors.

The Ruby ExDrive Kit features the new generation of eSATA hard drive enclosures using native eSATA interface for the highest performance possible today through an externally connected hard drive enclosure. Designed for accommodating any standard 2.5" SATA or SATA II hard drive, the Ruby ExDrive provides data transfer speeds approximately three times the maximum throughput of traditional drive enclosures utilizing the standard USB or Firewire interfaces.
