RAID Tower IIIc (RT31225EU3)

The RAID Tower IIIc is a compact RAID storage system designed for 2.5" hard drive and SSD. The RAID Tower IIIc includes many features that come in larger RAID Towers. As many as twelve 2.5" SATA hard drives or SSDs can be installed into the RAID Tower IIIc. The small foot print, silent operation and large storage capability make this RAID Tower the ideal solution for a wide variety of storage applications in small business and home environments.

Once the drives are installed, they can be configured as a RAID set and connect to the computer via four high speed eSATA ports or four USB 3.0 ports using the Addonics option USB3.0 - eSATA adapter. Drive is added or removed to the RAID Tower like tape cartridge with no special tool. Comes with everything required to connect to the computer, all you need is to add your own hard drives and configure the RAID via a set of on board dip switches on the back of the tower.

 

  • Install up to twelve 2.5 SATA hard drives or SSD of any capacity (drives not included)
  • Drives are added or removed like tape cartridge from each drive bay without any special tool
  • Connect to system via four eSATA ports (four 3 feet eSATA cables are included)
  • Drives in group of five can be configured as RAID0 (Striping), RAID1 (Mirroring), RAID 5 (Parity), RAID10 (Mirrored Striped), JBOD (Concatenation), Clone Mode (N-Way Mirror) using built-in hardware RAID or as five individiual drives without RAID
  • Individual drive setting requires connecting to Port Multiplier compatible controller or USB port
  • Drives on the top row of drive bays are used as individual drives
  • The ten drives below the top drive bays can be set as two RAID groups or as ten individual drives
  • RAID setting via Windows software utility or via dip switches inside the RAID Tower
  • OS independent, can be used on any system
  • RAID diagnostic via LED light or utility software under Window
