Need to read/write to or retrieve your valuable data from the small 1.8" Toshiba™ hard drive that is inside you Apple™ iPOD™ and small Notebook computers? The new Toshiba 1.8" ZIF to 2.5" IDE connector or the 1.8" 50-pin IDE to 2.5" connector from Addonics are the perfect tool. It will enable you to attach this small 1.8" hard drive, just like a 2.5" IDE hard drive, to any computers. By adding the Addonics 2.5" to 3.5" converter kit, you can also connect this 1.8" hard drive to the standard 40 pins IDE cable commonly found on any desktop, server and most industrial PCs. You now can easily read or write onto this little hard drive with ease using your Notebook or Desktop PC in various applications such as Data Backup, a Boot drive, Forensic examination and others.

External Hard drive and removable hard drive solution

How about using this little drive as an external hard drive or as a removable hard drive? Not a problem. Addonics has also developed the Jupiter 1.8" ExDrive kit, which enable this small Toshiba 1.8" hard drive to be mounted inside the Addonics Jupiter ExDrive enclosure. Now you can connect the enclosure to USB, Firewire, or eSATA by attaching one of the Addonics USIB interface cables or use the enclosure like a tape cartridge with the Jupiter ExDrive drive cradle in you desktop system.
