The new Addonics DVD±R/RW is the latest optical storage solution with SecurDisc™ technology that provides the option to secure the content in DVD or CD media from unauthorized access. SecurDisc™ features multiple levels of protection using both password protection and digital signature authentication. In addition, the SecurDisc™ technology includes enhanced data integrity for better data recovery from scratched or damaged CD or DVD media. There is no special media required for the SecurDisc™ DVD±R/RW and the created media can be easily accessed by any ordinary DVD or CD drive with the SecurDisc reader*. The SecurDisc DVD±R/RW can also be used just like an ordinary DVD RRW burner to create a standard non password protected DVD or CD disc.
The SecurDisc™ DVD±R/RW is constructed with sturdy aluminum for tough handling in
a wide range of computing environments. With choice of USB 2.0, Firewire and the latest eSATA interface, the SecurDisc™ DVD±R/RW can be deployed practically in all types of computer hardware.
