The Pocket Series optical storage device offers choices of CD, DVD/CDRW
or the combo dual format DVD burner in a small package. Designed with the Addonics USIB connectors, this Pocket series optical device can easily attached to a system via USB, eSATA or Firewire port by attaching different Addonics USIB interface cable. The DVD burner, with choice of tray load or slot-load mechanism, is available in a tough anodized aluminum housing for great durability in various application environments.
Designed to work in the latest Windows OS, Linux and Solaris
8, the drive can also be powered from most of the USB or Firewire ports. The interface flexibility and the choice of rugged anodized enclosure make this Pockiet series a great external peripheral for wide range of applications in various operating environments.

2003 server, Vista, Linux (kernel 2.4 or higher), Solaris 8 and higher, Mac OS X 9.0 and above

* Addonics has successfully
tested the Pocket Series drive using Direct power
from USB ports on various brands of Notebook and Desktop computers.
However, Addonics does not guarantee the device will work with power
directly from the computers as the power from the USB ports varies
from different system manufacturers. |
