The Pocket Series II offers choices of CD, DVD, Combo DVD/CDRW
or the Super combo dual format DVD burner in the same small package as
the original Pocket Series but at an amazingly affordable price. Unlike
the original Pocket Series that features flexible interchangeable interface
connection, this Pocket Series II comes built-in with the popular USB
2.0 interface. Designed to work in the latest Windows OS, Linux and Solaris
8, the drive can also be powered from most of the USB ports. The Pocket
CD II, the DVD II, the Combo DVD/CDRW II and the Super Combo DVD+/-R/RW/DL
II are the perfect portable USB peripherals for many Notebook and Desktop
computers.

tested the Pocket CD II, DVD II and DVD/CDRW II using Direct power
from USB ports on various brands of Notebook and Desktop computers.
However, Addonics does not guarantee the device will work with power
directly from the computers as the power from the USB ports varies
from different system manufacturers.
