The Pocket DVD+/-R/RW is one of the smallest portable Dual format DVD burner that combines all the functions of a DVD Player, DVD Recorder, CD Player and CD Recorder into a size equivalent to a double stack CD jewel case. You can use this device for achieving data to high capacity DVD+R DL, DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW media, or recording onto the ubiquitous CD-R or CD-RW media, DVD, CDRW duplication, or view DVD movie. Like most of Addonics external storage solution, the Pocket DVD+/-R/RW/DL offers flexible interface connection of USB 2.0, Serial ATA, or Firewire. Weighs less than 14 Oz, the Pocket DVD+/-R/RW is the ultimate portable storage solutions for the mobile users.

Specifications

Media - Not all media are the same. At this time, we highly recommend to use Pioneer and Sony brand of DVD-R or DVD-RW media. Other brand of media that we tested and worked well with our drive are LEDA and GQ. We have received report that the media from Fuji is not compatible.

* Addonics has successfully tested the Pocket DVD-R/RW using Direct power from Firewire ports on various brands of Notebook and Desktop computers. However, Addonics does not guarantee the Pocket DVD-R/RW to work with power directly from the computers as the power from the connecting ports varies from different system manufacturers. iLink is the Sony Firewire standard and does not provide power to the peripheral device. Check with your system manufacturer for detail specification of your Firewire port.
