This mini SAS ExpressCar adapterr supports connecting up to four SATA devices via an external mini SAS (SFF-8088)  connector.to a ExpressCard 34/54 slot on a Notebook computer. The controller supports throughput up to 6Gbps when installed into ExpressCard 2.0 slots on a Notebook computer.
