The RAID Tower III is a family of compact RAID storage systems which include many features found in larger RAID Towers. As many as five 3.5" SATA hard drives can be installed into the RAID Tower III. The small foot print, silent operation and the large storage capability of the RAID Tower III make it the ideal solution for a wide variety of storage applications in small business and home environments.
Once the drives are installed, they can be configured as a RAID set or as individual drives and be connected to the computer via a single high speed eSATA connection or optional USB 3.0 / 2.0 connection with the USB 3.0 to eSATA adapter. Each model comes with everything required to connect to the computer. All you need is to add your own hard drives and configure the RAID via a simple on board dip switches or Windows software utility.
